These terms and conditions apply to all bookings and services provided by Bibi Saira Mehndi, a sole-trader business based in Hampshire, UK. By submitting a booking request or purchasing a service, you agree to these terms.
1. Booking & Confirmation
- All bookings are subject to availability and are not confirmed until you receive a written confirmation from us (by email, WhatsApp or text).
- A deposit may be required to secure your date for bridal or large group bookings. The deposit amount will be confirmed at the time of booking.
- The remaining balance is due on the day of the appointment before the session begins.
2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Cancellation by you: Please give as much notice as possible. Deposits are non-refundable unless we are unable to fulfil the booking.
- Rescheduling: We will always try to accommodate a change of date. Please contact us as early as possible — at least 48 hours' notice is appreciated.
- Cancellation by us: In the unlikely event we need to cancel (e.g. illness or emergency), we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a full refund of any deposit paid or an alternative date.
3. Services & Design
- We use natural henna paste. Results vary depending on skin type, body temperature, aftercare, and how long the paste is left on.
- Colour intensity and longevity (typically 1–3 weeks) cannot be guaranteed as they are affected by factors outside our control.
- We do not use black henna (PPD). If you request it, we will decline for safety reasons.
- Reference photos are welcome and we will do our best to match the style requested, but designs are hand-drawn and will not be identical reproductions.
- We reserve the right to decline any design request we consider inappropriate.
4. Allergies & Skin Conditions
- It is your responsibility to inform us of any known allergies or skin conditions before the session.
- We recommend a patch test at least 24 hours before if you have sensitive skin or have not had henna before.
- We cannot be held responsible for allergic reactions where we have not been informed of a pre-existing condition or allergy.
5. Children
- Henna services for children under 16 require the consent of a parent or guardian who must be present during the session.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to a child if a parent or guardian is not present.
6. Travel & Mobile Bookings
- For bookings outside the immediate Hampshire area, a travel fee may apply. This will be agreed in writing before the booking is confirmed.
- Parking must be available at or near the venue. If we are unable to park, the session start time may be delayed.
7. Photography
- We may photograph finished designs for use on our website and social media. If you do not wish to be photographed, please let us know before the session.
- Photos of hands and arms will never include identifiable features (e.g. faces) without explicit consent.
8. Liability
- Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for those services.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
