Matching Mehndi and Nails for a Celebration

Henna and nails share the same hands, so they are worth planning together. A full bridal mehndi already carries the pattern. The nails usually look calmer when they stay soft: a sheer pink, a warm neutral, or a fine French tip picked up from the outfit. A strong colour on every nail can fight the henna instead of sitting beside it.

Bridal hands

For a wedding, book the mehndi on its own. That appointment needs the time and the drying, and it should not be rushed to fit a manicure into the same hour. Henna services covers bridal and party designs, and the date itself goes through mehndi booking.

Nails can be done on an earlier day. A sheer pink or a nude still looks right in photographs a few days later, and it will not sit on top of fresh henna. If you want the colour chosen from the outfit or the flowers, say so when you book. Bibi Saira is based in New Milton and travels to Lymington, Bournemouth, Christchurch and nearby areas.

Hen parties and family celebrations

A hen party or a birthday can go the other way. One small motif, such as a flower, a fine line, or a touch of gold, can echo a flower in the mehndi without covering it. Keep the motif to one nail if the henna is detailed. The rest of the hand can stay a single colour so the pattern remains the main thing people see.

Try the nails before the event

If nail design is the part you want to see first, the complimentary sitting is the way to do it. It is free because Bibi Saira is building a nail portfolio, it is one hand, and it is booked apart from mehndi. Read what to expect at the free nail design, then request a published date. Only the dates on that page can be booked.

If you are planning both and you are not sure which to book first, send a message with the event date. Henna for the celebration should be reserved on the booking page as soon as you know the day. A little more about the artist is on the about page.
